James Hudson Taylor lived from 1832-1905 and founded the Christian missions organization called China Inland Mission. From a young age, Taylor had a special burden for the evangelism of China. He would eventually spend much of his life ministering in China, influencing hundreds (if not thousands) of missionaries to follow the Great Commission by partnering with him in God’s work.

Through a systematized evangelization plan, culturally appropriate dress, and a variety of avenues for reaching the Chinese, Taylor ministered in China trusting for God’s provision and strength and died leaving an inspiring legacy to many.

We pray that the memorable quotations from Hudson Taylor shared below are an encouragement to you in your pursuit and service of God.
