Mentor Trainer – Strategy and Goals

Welcome to the Leadership Resources Staff Training Live Stream page.  Everything you need to participate in Thursday’s staff training can be accessed from this page. The event is divided into two separate YouTube Live Events and can be viewed below.

 

Before the Event

In preparation for our time together this week, we have provided three document drafts for you to download and review. We will be discussing these on Thursday afternoon, looking for your reflections and suggestions for moving forward with them.

  • LRI Strategy Handbook: An Outline of our Core Beliefs
    • Download: Word Doc, PDF
    • Contains the theological and philosophical rationale for the ministry of LRI: fostering movements of the Word
    • Designed both for LRI staff members AND in-country leaders

 

  • LRI Manual: Tools for Executing our Strategy
    • Download: Word Doc, PDF
    • Contains tools for reaching the strategy outlined in LRI Strategy Handbook
    • Contains an appendix with detailed documents to use during partnership development (MOU etc.), selection (Exploring Expectations for TNT etc.) and evaluation (Moving to the Right, TNT Evaluation, MT Evaluation etc.)
    • Designed both for LRI staff members AND in-country leaders

 

  • Mentor Trainer Handbook: Tools for Developing Leaders of a Movement of the Word
    • Download: Word Doc, PDF
    • Contains tools for successfully training Mentor trainers
    • To be used initially for Intensive Training
    • Use can flow into continued MT training with 1st Gen sites
    • Designed for LRI staff to use with new and developing MTs AND in-country leaders to use with MTs.

 

The Day of Live Stream Event

  • Agenda (all times are Central Time Zone – Chicago, IL)
    • Session 1   1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
    • Break         3:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
    • Session 2   3:15 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

 

Sessions 1 and 2 will be streamed live as 2 separate YouTube live-stream videos, and can be viewed below.  You can also participate in a Live Chat to provide comments or ask questions. We’ll do our best to address your questions as the day progresses. Using the Live Chat feature requires a Google login and requires you to view the videos on YouTube.com.  If you wish to participate in the Live Chat, click the “Visit YouTube.com” links above each video, sign in with your Google login and click the “Show Chat” box under the video to the right of the description.
